Oriakhi Granted Release

Junior Alex Oriakhi moved another step closer to becoming a "former" Connecticut basketball player on Tuesday.

UConn spokesman Mike Enright confirmed Tuesday night that the school has granted the 6-foot-9 junior forward his release.
