A verbal offer is one of the most intriguing aspects of recruiting. At times a verbal offer could mean you will never see an offer in writing, but we’re interested and this keeps our foot in the door. A verbal offer can be a miscommunication between a coach and a prospect. There are times when a verbal offer is what it is intended for, letting an athlete know an official written offer is on the way.
